As our new Product Analyst, you will play a key role in helping us optimize and improve EMS strategies through market and data analysis. You will be involved with our expansion to new countries and you will be working closely with the Product Lead and business to translate their needs into new solutions, and driving the implementation of those solutions. You will be day-to-day part of the Product & Data Science team and further collaborate with various teams, including the Energy Trading and Technical departments.
What it takes you to be successful in this role:
- Business Analysis: collaborate with the Product Lead and key stakeholders stakeholders to analyze business challenges and design solutions that align with company goals
- Optimization modeling: design and implement data-driven optimization models (multi-market bidding strategies) for implementation within our EMS, powered by forecasting and machine learning models
- Market expansion & business modeling: help calculate and shape new business models for new countries that we’re expanding to
- Operational asset intelligence: further development of our AmpiHealth Analytics Platform to increase battery safety and performance, by applying advanced diagnostics such as predictive maintenance, degradation modeling, and real-time anomaly detection.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Energy Technology, Data Science, or a related field;
- 2-5 years of experience as an analyst, energy trader or similar role in a fast-paced environment;
- Experience with energy markets such as Wholesale (Day-Ahead, Intraday), Balancing (FCR, aFRR, mFRR, Imbalance) and Congestion (GOPACS) markets
- Strong problem-solving skills with a business-oriented mindset
- Proven experience with Python or other data tooling/platforms (SQL, visualization tools)
- Experience or affinity with time-series forecasting and machine learning
