About The Role
We are looking for Senior Java Developers to join our Celfocus team in Portugal.

We are looking for a full-stack developer with a strong focus on backend development, eager to explore new technologies and innovative approaches within internal systems of a financial institution. As a part of your job, you will:
As a team member the developer will be responsible for:
- Java backend developments (Spring Boot).
- Solution designs using AWS and microservices.
- Frontend development activities, if required.
- Delivering using agile practices, in sprints and in accordance with the Product Owner and team’s backlog and sprint stories.
- Deploying using DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
- Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in Java development and proficiency in the latest editions of Java, including expertise in Spring Boot.
- Strong knowledge of AWS, Microservices architecture, and design patterns.
- Strong knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience in frontend technologies like React.js or Angular is a strong plus.
- Experience in NodeJs and PostgreSQL database is a plus.
- Solid grasp of security best practices related to APIs and data privacy.
- Proficiency in Agile/Scrum methodologies and a commitment to driving Agile practices within the team.
- Comfortable with DevOps practices involving configuration management, CI/CD pipelines, Gitflow, IaC, deployment patterns among others.
- Proficiency in English (B2+) is a must.
- Availability to work onsite 2 days per week, in Lisbon or Oporto.
- Ability to adapt to different contexts, teams, and Clients;
- Teamwork skills but also a sense of autonomy;
- Motivation for international projects and ok if travel is included;
- Willingness to collaborate with other players;
- Strong communication skills.
