Job Title: Cloud Administrator Location: Lisbon, Portugal

Work Regime: Full-time & Hybrid (2x office per week)

Overview / Summary:

We are looking for a Cloud Administrator to join our team! This person will be responsible for managing, monitoring, and optimizing the cloud environment, with a primary focus on Microsoft Azure and complementary experience in AWS and IBM Cloud.

Responsibilities and Tasks:

  • Administer and maintain cloud infrastructures in Azure, AWS and IBM Cloud;
  • Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC);
  • Configure and manage networking and security in cloud environments (VNet/VPC, VPN, firewalls, NSGs, IAM and RBAC);
  • Monitor, analyze and resolve incidents in cloud environments using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, CloudWatch, etc;
  • Implement backup, disaster recovery (DR) and high availability solutions;
  • Collaborate with development teams on CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices;
  • Ensure compliance with security standards and governance best practices;
  • Document processes, architectures and operational procedures.

Requirements

Mandatory Requirements:

  • Hands-on experience in Azure administration (minimum 3 years);
  • Strong knowledge of Azure AD, networking, security, storage, computing, and monitoring;
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred);
  • Complementary experience with AWS (EC2, S3, IAM and RDS) and IBM Cloud;
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex environments (networks, applications and performance);
  • Familiarity with DevOps / CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI, Azure DevOps or Jenkins;
  • Knowledge of containers and Kubernetes (AKS, EKS);
  • Experience in cloud cost management (right-sizing, autoscaling and reserved instances);
  • Strong documentation, communication, and collaboration skills;
  • Experience of hybrid multi-cloud environments (on-premises and cloud);
  • Experience of working in critical environments (high availability and resilience);
  • Proactive and solution-oriented;
  • Strong team player with excellent communication skills;
  • Attention to detail with focusing on security and best practices;
  • Ability to learn new technologies in multi-cloud environments.
