Primary Purpose And Function
- Drives the analysis, design, and delivery of Business Intelligence solutions within the pharmaceutical R&D IT landscape.
- Combines strong business analysis skills with hands-on BI expertise to translate stakeholder needs into scalable data models, efficient ETL pipelines, and intuitive Power BI products that enable data driven decision-making.
- Collaborates closely with Global IT, R&D, and QA teams to ensure BI solutions align with business requirements, data governance, and quality standards.
- Data Management: Collect, analyze, and interpret large datasets to provide actionable insights.
- Data Solutions: Develop and manage Advanced Analytics solutions, including BI Dashboards, Reports and digital solutions.
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements.
- Project Management: Lead and manage Data and Advance Analytics projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business goals.
- Documentation: Create and maintain documentation, including design specifications and user manuals.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and recommend digital solutions
- Deep understanding of data quality, reporting, and data analysis techniquesAbility to design and oversee the solution from concept, requirements gathering, through development, testing and implementation (manage it end to end)
- Experience with troubleshoot and solve problemsStrong interpersonal and communication skills with an ability to communicate well in English
- Strong desire to collaborate and work as part of a team
- Bachelor's degree in information systems, Industrial & Management, Computer Science, Business or related field
- +6 years’ experience in a business intelligence role
- +3 years’ experience as BI business Analyst in IT department
- Experience working with DataStage, Databricks, ADF, Azure Data Lake, Power BI, Qlik SenseWork in a global company
- Experience writing SQL
