Role: Product Manager – Vertical AI / B2B SaaS
Location: Remote, based in Turkey (working with NL team)
Type: Full-time, remote
Company: Manuel AI
Technicians in the Netherlands spend their day fighting with:
- heat pumps, boilers and air conditioners,
- error codes and technical jargon,
- long PDF manuals,
- impatient customers.
Manuel AI is their digital colleague.
They type a problem or error code into Manuel.
Manuel reads the technical documents, uses AI, and returns short, practical steps that work in the field.
Under the hood we have:
- a data engine that digests messy technical PDFs,
- manufacturer / product / scenario-specific AI agents,
- a mobile-first conversational interface.
We’re running pilots with manufacturers like Bosch and expanding to HVAC installers.
- The founding team is based in the Netherlands and focuses on product vision, partnerships and the industry.
- Our core development team is Turkish: a small, hands-on group of fullstack developers working fully remote from Turkey.
- Communication is direct, informal and fast — no corporate layers, no “manager of managers”.
You’ll sit in the middle of this: close enough to the founders to influence direction, and close enough to the dev team to ship real things.
This is not a “feature request manager” role.
For us, a Product Manager is:
the brain between the technician’s reality in the field, the manufacturer’s constraints, and the team’s capacity.
You will:
- understand what technicians actually need under pressure,
- match that with what Manuel can and should do,
- turn it into clear product strategy, roadmaps and experiments.
You will say “no” when needed — with logic, not ego.
- Own the product direction and roadmap for Manuel AI:
- Decide which problems are worth solving now and which can wait.
- Balance technical complexity, business value, and technician impact.
- Run continuous discovery with:
- technicians (service, maintenance, installation),
- manufacturers,
- the founding team in the Netherlands.
- Calls, interviews, usage analysis. Minimum meetings, maximum signal.
- Deepen our core use cases:
- error code diagnosis flows,
- document search & Q&A,
- technician onboarding and trust-building.
- Write lean, clear product specs:
- problem statement and success metrics,
- simple user stories and flows,
- edge cases that matter in the field.
- Enough clarity so developers and the Project Manager can execute without guessing.
- Drive pilots (e.g. Bosch) as real experiments:
- Set 6–8 week product goals,
- design in-product experiments,
- read results and adjust.
- Work with product analytics:
- activation, retention, session behavior,
- success/failure per question,
- “this actually helped me” signals.
- Collaborate tightly with:
- UI/UX on flows and surfaces,
- Turkish fullstack developers on tradeoffs and feasibility,
- Project Manager on scope, timelines and risk.
Must-haves
- Based in Turkey, comfortable working fully remote with a Dutch-based founding team and a Turkish dev team.
- 3+ years experience as a Product Manager / Product Owner in software.
- Experience in B2B SaaS or workflow products
- (operations, support, field/service teams is a strong plus).
- Real discovery + delivery track record:
- you’ve talked to users,
- defined and tracked metrics,
- owned a roadmap,
- and said “no” when it was the right answer.
- Technically literate:
- you understand APIs, data flows, integrations, and environments at a conceptual level,
- you can speak directly with developers without a third person translating.
- Strong communication:
- Fluent Turkish (for deep collaboration with the dev team),
- solid English (for docs, calls and work with the NL side).
Nice-to-haves
- Worked on AI / LLM-based products or document/search-heavy systems.
- Built products for technicians, field service, support or similar hands-on personas.
- Experience working with European customers.
We’re not looking for someone to:
- just maintain a backlog,
- just “manage JIRA”,
- or just forward requirements.
We’re looking for someone who:
- sees manual, inefficient processes as design bugs,
- prefers one problem solved end-to-end over ten half-baked features,
- can push back on founders, sales and engineering when needed — calmly, with data.
- A very clear vertical (HVAC / technicians) with real, non-theoretical problems.
- Direct access to the founding team and to the Turkish development team actually building the product.
- A product role measured by outcomes, not ticket counts.
- Long-term upside through a performance-based equity/option structure.
- Remote work from anywhere in Turkey, with a focused but flexible schedule.
- Short Typeform (experience + Manuel-specific product thinking).
- 45–60 min call with a founder focused on how you think and decide.
- A small, focused case study using a real Manuel AI scenario.
- Reference checks.
Apply via LinkedIn. If your profile fits, we’ll send you the Typeform as the next step.
