Network Infrastructure Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking a Network Engineer with experience in Infrastructure & Networking, in FinTech, Banking systems, or Financial software. The role involves designing, implementing, and supporting network and data center infrastructure, with strong knowledge of virtualization, high availability, disaster recovery, and Turkish regulatory requirements.

 Required Skills and Qualifications

•  Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

• At least 3 years of experience Infrastructure & Networking, with a focus on FinTech, Banking systems, or Financial software.

• Fluency in English, both written and verbal.

• Familiarity with Turkish regulatory requirements, including Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey Information Systems regulations.

• Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLANs, and VPN technologies.

• Deep understanding of data center infrastructure, including networking, storage, and compute environments.

• Extensive experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V, KVM, or similar).

• Solid expertise in High Availability (HA) and replication technologies.

• Good understanding of backup and disaster recovery solutions, including replication strategies.

• Experience with network monitoring and alerting tools.

• Working knowledge of basic network security concepts and best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and maintain network infrastructure including LAN, WAN, VLANs, VPNs, routing, and switching.

• Manage and support data center infrastructure, ensuring high availability, scalability, and optimal performance.

• Deploy, administer, and troubleshoot virtualization platforms and virtualized network environments.

• Implement and maintain High Availability (HA) and replication solutions to ensure business continuity.

• Design and manage backup and replication strategies to protect critical systems and data.

• Monitor network performance and availability using network monitoring tools, proactively identifying and resolving issues.

• Apply basic network security principles, including firewall rules, access control, and secure network design.

• Troubleshoot complex network and infrastructure issues and provide root cause analysis.

• Document network designs, configurations, and operational procedures.
