Position Summary
- We are seeking an experienced and well-rounded IT Infrastructure & Administration Lead to support a growing portfolio of technology initiatives across multiple properties.
This role is not responsible for day-to-day IT operations, which are managed by a Managed Services Provider (MSP). Instead, the role focuses on infrastructure oversight, governance, and project support across the full project lifecycle, from RFP development through discovery, design, implementation, transition, and steady-state operations.
The ideal candidate will act as a key liaison between internal IT teams, enterprise architects, application teams, and external vendors, ensuring infrastructure readiness, compliance with standards, and smooth project delivery.

Key Responsibilities & Performance Standards
A. Infrastructure Project Support
- Support execution of the overall IT infrastructure strategy aligned with organizational objectives.
- Provide input on infrastructure improvements, innovation opportunities, and cost optimization initiatives.
- Provide technical expertise during RFP processes for infrastructure-related projects.
- Support project teams during discovery, design, and execution by advising on infrastructure requirements, integrations, and dependencies.
- Contribute to evaluation of RFPs, technical specifications, and design documents.
- Ensure infrastructure solutions align with enterprise IT standards, security policies, and architectural principles.
- Coordinate transition of completed projects to the Managed Services Provider (MSP).
- Support infrastructure aspects of digital initiatives such as POS replacement, platform re-architecture, and customer experience solutions.
- Work closely with DevOps and application teams to ensure infrastructure readiness for deployments and integrations.
B. Platform & Infrastructure Oversight
- Oversee and support infrastructure across multiple sites, including servers, networks, storage, and cloud environments.
- Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for infrastructure components supporting enterprise platforms.
- Work with the MSP to ensure infrastructure services meet operational and performance requirements.
- Review and approve infrastructure changes proposed by system integrators, ensuring compliance with architecture and cybersecurity standards.
- Maintain visibility of end-to-end infrastructure topology and configurations.
- Support cloud migration and architectural initiatives aligned with enterprise guidelines.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure issues and coordinate vendor resolution.
- Monitor infrastructure performance, reliability, scalability, and consumption to identify optimization and cost-saving opportunities.
- Provide input into annual IT budgets and procurement planning.
C. Administration
- Prepare and process purchase requisitions, petty cash requests, and purchase orders.
- Coordinate invoices, quotations, delivery notes, completion certificates, and vendor documentation.
- Support IT contract and addendum management, renewals, and approvals.
- Assist in tender preparation, technical scoping, vendor coordination, and evaluations.
- Support vendor onboarding and performance reviews.
D. Collaboration & Coordination
- Act as the primary liaison between internal IT teams, MSPs, system integrators, vendors, and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with Enterprise Architects, Application Teams, and DevOps to ensure integrated design and delivery.
- Participate in architecture reviews and contribute to infrastructure standards and best practices.
- Support incident, problem, and change management processes.
- Provide regular updates to the Assistant IT Manager on infrastructure status, risks, and improvement initiatives.
E. Vendor & Partner Management
- Oversee infrastructure deliverables from system integrators and MSPs.
- Ensure adherence to SLAs, timelines, and quality standards.
- Review and validate vendor proposals, technical documentation, and change requests.
- Support vendor performance reviews and continuous service improvement plans.
- Ensure smooth handover of projects into operational support.
F. Performance, Reliability, Compliance & Optimization
- Review infrastructure performance metrics and reports from the MSP.
- Support capacity planning, performance tuning, and scaling initiatives.
- Contribute to Disaster Recovery (DR) and Business Continuity Planning (BCP).
- Ensure compliance with cybersecurity, governance, and regulatory requirements.
- Support infrastructure lifecycle refresh, upgrades, and migrations.
- Execute and periodically test DR and backup plans.
G. Continuous Improvement & Documentation
- Maintain comprehensive infrastructure documentation and architecture diagrams.
- Contribute to infrastructure strategy and roadmap development.
- Recommend enhancements to monitoring, alerting, and automation.
- Support governance reviews of infrastructure architecture and service performance.

Selection Criteria
A. Qualifications & Experience
Essential
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in IT infrastructure or platform engineering roles.
- Strong knowledge of networking, cloud, and security protocols.
- Experience working in multi-vendor or managed services environments.
- Prior involvement in governance, architecture, or service delivery oversight.
- Experience supporting enterprise-scale technology projects.
Desirable
- Experience in hospitality, leisure, or multi-site operations.
- Certifications such as ITIL, CompTIA, PMP, or equivalent.
