About the role:

We are seeking an experienced Frontend Engineer with a strong background in react. You will be responsible for the development and enhancement of Software products supporting Accounting and Finance operations, ensuring they meet the needs of our clients and comply with industry standards.

You will be supported by an engaging Chief Technology Officer and report into the Head of Engineering. Working as part of a technology team of 21 based in Sydney and Hyderabad.

Responsibilities:

Develop UI Components:

• Convert Figma designs into functional react components.
• Components need to be responsive and efficient.

Integration with Existing Systems:

• Integrate frontend with multiple backend systems.
• Ensure data transfer follows best practices and take a preventative approach in exposing PI data

Performance Optimization:

• Monitor and optimize the performance of the frontend portion of the application following best practices in terms of hooks, code splitting etc.
• Identify and resolve bottlenecks or inefficiencies in the frontend application
• Proficient in caching mechanisms

Error Handling and Robustness:

• Implement error-handling mechanisms to manage and recover from failures or unexpected outputs from the backend systems
• Ensure frontend functionality is resilient and fault tolerant.
