In the Nordics, ONNEC is growing rapidly with teams in Sweden, Denmark, Finland and Norway. We are now looking for a Project Manager to join our Norwegian operation.
About The Role
As a Project Manager you will have full responsibility for leading technical infrastructure projects from planning to execution and handover. Responsibility includes compliance (samsvarserklæring) and finances related to the project. You will serve as the designated ekomnettautorisasjon (ENA) responsible and also keep up to speed with NKOM developments, ensuring regulatory compliance with NEK 700 and related standards.
While the ekom responsibilities will represent a small portion of your time, it is critical to ensure our operations meet national telecom regulations. You will be expected to stay informed on regulatory changes and communicate any relevant updates internally - contributing to the organisation's quality and compliance culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead infrastructure projects within structured cabling
- Coordinate project resources, deliveries, and subcontractors
- Manage project budgets (P&L) and reporting to the Project Director
- Act as the primary client contact throughout the project lifecycle
- Ensure project delivery meets ONNEC’s and clients’ quality and HSE standards
- Act as the appointed ekom-responsible for the organisation in Norway
- Follow and distribute updates to NEK 700 and other applicable telecom standards
- Support internal QA/QC processes related to telecom compliance
Candidates must meet one of the following educational requirements:
- Technical College (Fagskole) in Electrical Engineering with Ekom Module
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Telecom, or similar
- Must be eligible to receive ekom network authorisation (ekomnettautorisasjon) from NKOM
- Experience working with contracts, subcontractors, and financial follow-up
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
- Proficiency in Norwegian is an advantage
- Experience in physical security, LAN/IPT/WiFi deployments
- Knowledge of QA/QC procedures and documentation practices
- Certifications such as Prince2 or BICSI
- Experience in data centre projects
- Structured and quality-driven
