Title: Senior Scrum Master

Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid, 2-3 days per week onsite)

Duration: 12+ Months

Overview

Client is looking for a Senior Scrum Master to stand up and lead a new Agile team supporting the Corporate Card Hub for Commercial Banking clients. This role will play a key part in establishing Agile ways of working, driving delivery, and enabling cross functional collaboration across technology and business teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Stand up a new Agile delivery team and establish Scrum and Agile best practices
• Act as Scrum Master for one or more Agile teams focused on Corporate Card Hub initiatives
• Facilitate all core Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
• Partner closely with Product Owners, business stakeholders, and technology teams to ensure clear backlog prioritization and delivery alignment
• Remove impediments and manage dependencies to keep the team focused and productive
• Coach team members and stakeholders on Agile principles and continuous improvement
• Track and report on delivery metrics, risks, and dependencies
• Support change management as the team transitions into a mature Agile delivery model

Required Skills and Experience

• 7+ years of experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Delivery Lead in large enterprise environments
• Strong hands on experience standing up new Agile teams
• Experience working within financial services or banking environments
• Solid understanding of Agile and Scrum frameworks
• Proven ability to work with senior stakeholders and cross functional teams
• Strong facilitation, communication, and problem solving skills
• Experience supporting payment platforms, card systems, or commercial banking initiatives
• SAFe or other Agile certification
• Experience working with corporate or commercial card products
