Software Engineer

We’re looking for an experienced Java Developer to support a Wealth Management client in Zurich. You’ll work on implementing diverse business requirements while collaborating with a team of experts to deliver innovative solutions.

About the Role

As a Java Developer, you’ll play a key role in designing, building, and enhancing systems while integrating third-party applications, including the BSI Customer Suite. The position requires a hands-on approach to technical challenges and collaboration with cross-functional teams, including architects, product owners, and external partners.

Your Responsibilities

• Estimation, design, and implementation of technical solutions for business needs.
• Developing scalable and maintainable integrations with subsystems and external platforms.
• Collaborating with stakeholders, including Product Owners and external suppliers, to deliver solutions.
• Migrating systems to the latest software versions.
• Resolving incidents, troubleshooting, and delivering bug fixes.

What You Bring

• A degree in Computer Science or similar.
• 5+ years of experience with Java (Java 8 preferred) and REST APIs.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, and system integration.
• Experience with tools like BSI.CRM, BSI.EIP, and BSI.CX is a strong advantage.
• A collaborative mindset and a strong work ethic.
• Fluency in German and English.
• Bonus: Knowledge of Wealth Advisory or Asset Management.

• Start Date: 01.01.2025
• End Date: 31.12.2025
• Remote Work: Up to 40% remote (within Switzerland)
