Responsável por realizar atividades de simulação avançada de dinâmica veicular para apoiar programas de desenvolvimento de atributos.
Responsabilidades:
Realizar simulações completas de veículos e suspensões para orientar os programas de desenvolvimento de chassis, minimizando a necessidade de testes físicos.
As principais responsabilidades desta função serão:
- Construir chassis e modelos completos de veículos;
- Realizar simulações virtuais para avaliar a cinemática e a conformidade da suspensão, além da dirigibilidade e do conforto de condução do veículo;
- Otimizar os parâmetros do chassi para atingir as metas de desempenho;
- Preparar/redigir relatórios de projeto;
- Apresentação dos resultados do projeto e suporte à tomada de decisões;
- Comunicação e relatórios com o cliente.
Responsible for carrying out vehicle dynamics advanced simulation activities to support attributes development programs.
Responsabilities:
Perform complete vehicle and suspension simulations to provide direction to the chassis development programs, while minimizing the need for physical testing.
Main responsabilities of this role will be:
- Build chassis and complete vehicle models;
- Perform virtual simulations to evaluate suspension kinematics & compliance and complete vehicle handling & ride comfort;
- Optimise chassis parameters in order to meet performance targets;
- Prepare/write project reports;
- Presentation of project results and suport decision making;
- Client communication and reporting.
Qualificações técnicas:
- Bacharel em Engenharia Mecânica ou equivalente.
- Interesse em desenvolvimento de chassis automotivos com foco em Dinâmica Veicular.
- Conhecimento da teoria da dinâmica veicular e das contribuições de componentes individuais (pontos rígidos, direção, molas, barras, amortecedores, pneus, buchas, etc.) para o controle e a calibração da suspensão e o desempenho completo do veículo.
- Compreensão básica do processo de desenvolvimento de desempenho, desde a definição e o desdobramento de metas até a validação e aprovação.
- Interesse em simulação de dinâmica veicular com modelos multicorpo (ADAMS) e/ou baseados em tabelas de consulta (VI-CarRealTime, IPG Carmaker, CarSim, etc.).
- Habilidades em pós-processamento de dados.
- Proficiência em inglês falado e escrito.
- Personalidade organizada e detalhista.
- Boa comunicação e habilidades de trabalho em equipe.
- Dedicação e flexibilidade.
- B. S. or higher in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- 1-3 years of experience in automotive chassis development with a focus on Vehicle Dynamics
- Knowledge of vehicle dynamics theory and contributions from individual components (hardpoints, steering, springs, bars, dampers, tires, bushings, etc.) to suspension K&C and full-vehicle performance.
- Basic understanding of the performance development process, from target setting and target cascading to validation and sign-off.
- Vehicle dynamics simulation experience with multi-body (ADAMS) and/or lookup tables-based models (VI-CarRealTime, IPG Carmaker, CarSim, etc).
- Data post-processing skills.
- Proficient in spoken and written English
- Detail-oriented and organized personality
- Good communication and team-working skills
- Hard-working and flexible mindset
