We are seeking a versatile Junior/Intermediate AI & Innovation Full Stack Engineer to join our team and contribute to both frontend and backend R&D for our platform. This role is ideal for engineers who are passionate about R&D and prototyping, as you will have the opportunity to innovate and experiment with new technologies and solutions. You will work across the entire technology stack, collaborating with UI/UX designers, architects, business owners and other developers and engineers to build prototypes with cohesive end-to-end features and functionality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional and cross-geographic teams to define, design, develop and communicate prototypes.
  • Develop prototypes with both frontend and backend components
  • Follow team coding standards, architectural patterns, and security practices.
  • Create and maintain documentation for all projects.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues throughout the application stack for prototypes.
  • Focus on R&D prototyping: Experiment with new technologies, frameworks, and methodologies to create innovative solutions.
  • Rapid prototyping: Develop quick and efficient prototypes to test and validate new ideas and concepts.
  • Research and innovation: Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Continual Learning mindset: As part of R&D you will be expected to continually learn and use old, new and emerging technologies

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent.
  • 3+ years of relevant industry experience.

Mandatory Skills

  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Exceptional communication skills and ability to work across teams.
  • Innovation mindset: Demonstrated ability to think creatively and propose innovative solutions.
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities – ability to work outside of comfort zones
  • Working experience with both Linux and Windows systems
  • Frontend skills:
    • Any combination of : JavaScript, HTML, CSS, REACT, Angular
  • Backend skills:
    • At least one of Python, NodeJS or similar.
    • Exposure to RESTful API design and implementation.
    • Relational Database design and Queries.
    • Version control systems (eg: Git).
  • Implementation of server-side logic using APIs.
  • Database design and data management
Preferred Skills

  • Experience with at least one cloud vendor (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Understanding of containerization (Docker) and orchestration concepts.
  • AI technologies and agentic workflows. Eg (Github Copilot, Langchain/Langraph, ChatGPT, Prompt Engineering)
