Role Summary We are seeking a highly organized, execution-oriented Project Manager / Systems Analyst to lead the end-to-end implementation of Lever ATS. This role is ideal for professionals with a background in ATS implementation, HRIS, business analysis, or recruiting operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for system configuration, data integrity, workflows, and stakeholder delivery, driving the ATS from kickoff through adoption.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the full lifecycle of the Lever ATS implementation, from discovery through go-live and stabilization.
- Build and manage detailed implementation plans, timelines, dependencies, and risks.
- Serve as the day-to-day point of contact for Lever’s implementation team and internal stakeholders.
- Translate business, recruiting, and HR workflows into system requirements and configurations.
- Lead discovery sessions with recruiters, hiring managers, HR, and leadership.
- Configure requisition and approval workflows, interview stages, scorecards, and evaluation criteria.
- Manage user roles, permissions, access controls, offer workflows, and downstream handoffs.
- Lead candidate, requisition, and user data migration efforts.
- Define field mapping, data validation rules, and testing protocols.
- Coordinate integrations with HRIS, background check providers, scheduling tools, assessments, and job boards.
- Manage UAT testing, issue tracking, and resolution.
- Partner with Talent leadership to define success metrics and reporting needs.
- Configure dashboards and reports for pipeline health, time-to-fill, source effectiveness, and offer outcomes.
- Validate data accuracy and ensure reporting consistency post-launch.
- Develop SOPs, training materials, and admin documentation.
- Support recruiter and hiring manager training and system adoption.
- Act as post-launch owner for system enhancements, optimization, and troubleshooting.
Requirements
- 3–7+ years of experience in ATS implementation, HRIS, recruiting operations, business analysis, or systems project management.
- Hands-on experience implementing or administering an ATS (Lever strongly preferred).
- Strong understanding of recruiting workflows and talent acquisition operations.
- Proven ability to gather requirements and translate them into system configuration.
- High attention to detail and strong documentation skills.
- Comfortable working cross-functionally with Recruiting, HR, IT, and vendors.
- Nice to Haves Experience leading ATS migrations or net-new implementations.
- Exposure to HRIS integrations and downstream people systems.
- Experience in scaling or high-growth organizations.
- Analytical mindset with comfort validating data, dashboards, and reports. Familiarity with Agile, Lean, or structured implementation methodologies.
