We’re looking for an enthusiastic Senior iOS Engineer who is passionate about building great products and loves being part of a motivated team of internationals.

  • WHAT YOU’LL DO
  • Work as an iOS developer in a cross functional product team, building new features for our iOS apps.
  • Maintain and improve the code base and existing features, and provide internal support for our iOS app.
  • Ensure the quality of your work writing automated tests. Maintain our CI/CD pipeline and our monitoring stack. React and fix issues when needed.
  • Bring your expertise and knowledge, give feedback to peers, share new ideas and make improvements to our processes.
  • YOUR BAG OF TRICKS
  • Enjoy developing apps with a focus on great user experiences
  • 5+ years of experience developing consumer-facing native iOS apps with Swift
  • Professional experience with SwiftUI, and Swift Structured Concurrency
  • Professional experience writing tests and ensuring the quality and maintainability of your code
  • Strong communicator with good presentation skills
  • Constantly learning, asking for feedback, and self-motivated
  • Proactive and take ownership of your work
  • Able to relocate to or based in Vienna - the world’s most liveable city!
  • NICE TO HAVE (We expect you to address at least four of the mentioned points)
  • Experience and a good understanding of UIKit and interoperability with SwiftUI
  • Experience writing and maintaining UI tests
  • Experience and a good understanding of Swift 6 Data Race Safety
  • Experience and a good understanding of data streams and the reactive programming paradigm with Combine, and/or AsyncSequence. Rx is a plus.
  • Experience working with images. Familiarity with the Photos framework, with UI, CG, and CI Images, image loading libraries, image caching, and image processing, and experience with CoreML, Vision, and using ML models
  • Experience with build scripts, optimizing build times, test runtimes, and maintaining a CI/CD pipeline
  • Knowledge of Apple Human Interface Guidelines, common designs and navigation patterns, accessibility, and willingness to cooperate with designers to build the best user experience
  • Degree in Computer Science
