We are looking for a Frontend Developer to join our team in Brussels. In this role you will design, develop, and maintain user-facing applications, ensuring high performance and seamless user experience. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver quality solutions and support ongoing improvements.

Your role

• Implement new features and enhancements based on project requirements.
• Conduct system integration testing (SIT) and ensure code quality through unit testing.
• Diagnose and resolve bugs and performance issues promptly.
• Deploy new developments to development (DEV) environments.
• Collaborate with backend developers, QA teams, and business analysts to ensure smooth delivery.
• Maintain documentation for code, processes, and technical specifications.

Your Profile

• Technical expertise in Java 8, CSS, HTML, JavaScript, and frameworks such as Spring, Hibernate, JSF.
• Familiarity with tools and environments: Git, Jira, Hudson, Nexus, Maven, Eclipse, Apache, Tomcat, JBoss, Oracle DB.
• Knowledge of testing tools and practices (JUnit, SoapUI).
• Experience with .NET, Linux, SharePoint Online, MS SQL, VBScript are a plus.
• Familiarity with MS Office.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities; team player with a proactive attitude.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage priorities effectively.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Technical Informatics, or a related field.
• Proficiency in English; Dutch and French are a plus.
