We are looking for a proactive IT Intern to support our day-to-day IT operations, especially related to equipment lifecycle management and basic technical support. This is a hands-on role that offers great exposure to practical IT work in a professional office environment.
Your Responsibilities
As an IT Intern, you will support the IT team with tasks including:
- Keeping track of IT equipment inventory and maintaining accurate records
- Purchasing IT equipment in line with internal guidelines and approved budgets
- Preparing welcome IT kits (laptops, accessories, accounts where applicable) for new employees
- Ensuring spare equipment is ready for use and properly wiped after previous users
- Managing secure data wiping of old or decommissioned devices
- Labeling devices and accessories clearly and consistently
- Ensuring all equipment is fully functional before handover to users
- Troubleshooting and fixing simple hardware issues (e.g. peripherals, connectivity, basic laptop issues)
You Likely Have
- Currently studying or recently graduated in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Basic understanding of computer hardware and peripherals
- Interest in IT support, asset management, and hands-on technical work
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to follow processes and guidelines
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills in English
- Familiarity with Windows/macOS environments
- Interest in IT security and data handling best practices
- Practical, hands-on experience
- Support and mentoring from an experienced IT team
- A friendly and professional working environment
