Netvisor is the leading financial management software in Finland, used by 40,000 companies. Our product streamlines the daily lives of Finnish entrepreneurs, accountants, and employees by automating many important processes in invoicing, payroll, and expense management.
We are now looking for a new Product Manager for Netvisor Payroll product line.
Your role
In this role you are responsible for the Netvisor Payroll business, overseeing the product strategy, go-to-market plan, and execution. This is a critical role that involves close collaboration with our product development, stakeholders, and external partners. You are the primary spokesperson and public "face" of the product to accounting offices. The position requires deep knowledge of payroll management and a clear vision for its future potential.
As Product Manager, you are the solution expert with knowledge of customers and their needs, bridging market trends with technology and the product itself. You are responsible for the product throughout its lifetime, focusing on maximizing its value. This is achieved by defining and clearly communicating product goals to all stakeholders, and prioritizing the work for the development team. Your ultimate goal is to ensure that development efforts are well-understood, deliver meaningful value to customers, and drive market innovation.
Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Defining, implementing, and managing the Go-to-Market (GTM) strategy for new product releases.
- Owning the product lifecycle and roadmap, managing priorities and communicating with stakeholders.
- Driving customer value through data-informed decisions, objectively measuring the impact, and communicating results to key stakeholders.
- Ensuring that our product strategy is taking us in the right direction.
- Collaborating with the Product Director and Development team to shape and refine the product strategy.
Your background
To succeed in this role, you need:
- Deep Domain Expertise: Profound understanding of payroll management and the accounting office business, and a forward-looking vision for future market developments.
- Proven Track Record in Product Management: Relevant prior experience in a similar Product Manager role.
- Strategic Vision and Execution: Ability to define a clear product vision and identify corresponding market needs. Demonstrated capability to lead and execute projects from start to finish.
- Growth Orientation: Strong drive to foster a culture of experimentation, willingness to continuously learn new things, and a growth mindset.
- Adaptable Working Style: Flexible in work approach and skilled in establishing shared objectives.
- Collaboration and Communication: Excellent cooperation and communication skills with diverse stakeholders, fluent in both Finnish and English.
