Senior Full Stack Engineer (Front-End Focused)

Location: Flexible hybrid in Germany (Cologne/Berlin preferred), with the option for fully remote options

Salary Range: €70,000-€90,000 + VSOP

We’re searching for a Senior Full Stack Engineer with strong front-end expertise to join an early-stage technology company building advanced AI-driven applications used by technical and operational professionals. The platform is scaling quickly, and this role will have a major impact on shaping both the product experience and the underlying architecture. You’ll work across the full stack but with a particular emphasis on front-end engineering, high-quality UI implementation, and thoughtful system design. Expect fast iteration, greenfield ownership, and the opportunity to help define both the engineering culture and product foundations.

What You’ll Do

• Build and evolve user-facing interfaces with modern front-end frameworks (React-heavy role).
• Develop high-quality, responsive, and intuitive UI components and ensure seamless interactions with backend services.
• Contribute to backend development (REST APIs, integrations, core services) using modern server-side languages.
• Collaborate closely with Product, Design and other Engineers to deliver rapid iterations from Figma mockups to production-ready features.
• Help define technical architecture across both front-end and back-end systems.
• Own deployments and CI/CD workflows for containerised applications.
• Improve performance, reliability, and maintainability throughout the stack.
• Work in a small, senior team where you’ll influence processes, coding standards, and technical decisions.

Core Experience Required:

• 5+ years in front-end engineering with deep React expertise.
• Solid full-stack experience, including backend development with a typed or modern backend language (e.g., Golang ideal).
• Experience with containerisation (Docker) and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions).
• Good understanding of relational and non-relational databases.
• Strong problem-solving skills and comfort working in a high-ownership environment.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with non-technical roles.

Bonus Skills (Not Required)

• Kubernetes or other orchestration tools
• Cloud infrastructure experience (AWS preferred)
• Terraform, ArgoCD or other IaC tools
• Experience with vector databases or RAG/LLM systems
