The Role
As an Onboarding & Engagement Specialist, you will support a smooth and positive contractor experience from onboarding through the full assignment lifecycle. You will serve as a trusted point of contact for contractors, ensure all onboarding requirements are completed accurately and on time, and partner closely with internal teams to resolve issues and improve processes.
This role is ideal for someone who is organized, proactive, detail-oriented, and enjoys working with people in a fast-paced environment.
Onboarding & Setup
- Work closely with our program ambassadors to facilitate a smooth and efficient onboarding process for newly placed contractors.
- Confirm contract details with contractors, including pay rates, availability, and contractor status.
- Guide contractors through onboarding requirements such as background checks, employment verification, and reference checks.
- Process onboarding documentation to meet client start dates and compliance requirements.
- Create, issue, and manage employment contracts and maintain accurate system records to support payroll and invoicing.
Contractor Support & Engagement
- Act as the main point of contact for contractors throughout their assignment.
- Manage contractor inquiries through the ticketing system and provide timely, accurate support.
- Proactively share key updates including timesheet reminders, deadlines, policy changes, and payroll information.
- Build strong relationships with contractors through regular check-ins, including in-person meetings and occasional on-site or informal engagements, to support a positive contractor experience.
Issue Resolution & Continuous Improvement
- Manage contractor issues and escalations in collaboration with Payroll, Data Management, Operations and The People Team.
- Support contract extensions, terminations, rate changes, system updates, and asset recovery.
- Identify opportunities to improve onboarding and engagement processes and support reporting needs.
Who You Are
- You are highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities while maintaining strong attention to detail.
- You are proactive, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- You are a strong communicator with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- You are customer-focused and enjoy supporting people through clear, timely, and thoughtful service.
- You are a confident problem solver who can navigate issues and escalations calmly and effectively.
- You are comfortable using MS Office tools (Excel, Word) and learning new systems quickly.
- You are motivated to learn, grow, and continuously improve processes and the contractor experience.
- You have a college diploma or university degree.
The salary range that the employer in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is €33,000 – €35,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
