The OPC Specialist is responsible for strengthening the Operational Permanent Control framework and processes, ensuring efficient management of business as usual (BAU) activities, and contributing to the evolution of the team's mandate. The role involves control framework management, documentation and training, project contribution, reporting and coordination.
Your Main Activities Are
- Control Framework Management: Understand and coordinate the control process from creation to deployment
- Documentation and Training: Document processes, procedures, and best practices and provide training
- Project Contribution: Contribute to ad-hoc projects, defining business requirements and contribute to project presentations, governance, workshop organization, and testing
- Reporting: Produce reports and share results
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Finance, Economics, Management, Business Administration or a related discipline
- Professional certifications in risk management or operational control are a plus
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in operational control, risk management, or a related field
- Experience in a banking or financial services environment is preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
- Proven experience in operational control or a related field
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Familiarity with project management principles
- Experience in training and documentation
- Knowledge or regulatory requirements and ethical standards in the banking industry
