As an AI engineer/Data Scientist within our VOICE Assist team, you help shape the future of smart customer interactions at VodafoneZiggo. Together with data analysts, big data and AI engineers, you build an innovative Voice Assist solution that connects our voice platform with an advanced data layer for optimal insights. You work hands-on with the latest agentic AI, AWS, and our new Content Guru platform.   • 4+ years of experience in machine learning/data science roles with at least 1 year focused on NLP/LLM applications
  • Hands-on experience with RAG architectures (vector databases, embedding strategies, retrieval optimization, chunking strategies)
  • Experience evaluating LLM systems (automated testing, A/B testing, performance metrics, human-in-the-loop evaluation)
  • Proficiency in Python with LLM frameworks (e.g. Langgraph/Haystack)
  • Track record of measuring and improving model performance in production (latency, accuracy, cost optimization)
  • Experience with prompt engineering, fine-tuning, and model adaptation techniques
  • Strong statistical background and ability to design/analyse experiments
  • Experience collaborating with engineering teams to productionise ML solutions
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Eagerness to learn and share knowledge, help further extend how we build data science products within our team
  • Experience with agentic workflows and multi-step reasoning systems at production scale. Experience building and designing operational agentic architecturesNice to have:
  • Knowledge of LLMOps best practices and tooling
  • Familiarity with the Telco industry or contact centers
  • Experience with LLM monitoring tools like Arize/LangFuse/LangWatch/etc. N/A
