Job Title: Network Specialist
Location: Antwerp, Belgium
Contract Type: 12 month contract + Extension
Language: Dutch C2 Level
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Network Control Centre supervisor to join our client that is in the public sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Configure and deploy network devices such as routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Implement VLANs, subnetting, and other network segmentation strategies to enhance performance and security.
- Ensure the network is secure by applying firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and encryption protocols.
Experience:
- Demonstrable experience with network infrastructure (e.g. Cisco Fortigate, ....)
- Demonstrable experience with system management and system configurations with regard to the applied networking technology.
- Demonstrable experience in configuring Alcatel switches, Cisco routers, thin APs and Alcatel wireless controllers.
- Demonstrable experience with Juniper SRX.
- Demonstrable experience in drawing up installation plans for APs based on floor plans.
