We are seeking an engaged and passionate IT Support Engineer to join our team in Wallingford, Oxfordshire!
Key Responsibilities
🖥️ Provide top-notch tech support to on-site and remote teams.
🔧 Diagnose and resolve hardware, software and networking problems.
💻 Perform workstation imaging, installation, upgrades and basic repairs.
✅ Perform meeting room checks and carry out maintenance.
🚦 Escalate security incidents - acknowledge, triage, escalate, and resolve as required.
🎧 Maintain accurate inventory of all devices and related assets.
👥 Collaborate with the IT team to identify and mitigate incidents across environments and servers.
📝 Create and maintain knowledge base articles to support IT operations and end-user self-service.
👩🏫 Deliver technical training sessions.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
🎓 Degree or Proven Experience: BS in Computer Science or similar hands-on expertise.
💼 Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in technology support.
💡 Experience with:
- Supporting remote users.
- Mobile Device Management applications (Jamf & Intune).
- Maintaining and monitoring enterprise level RMM, Manage Engine Endpoint Central.
- Familiar with at least one project management methodology (Agile, Waterfall, ITIL).
- Operating systems such as Windows, iOS, OSx, Android etc).
- Creating and maintaining automatic scripts (Bash, PowerShell etc).
📆 Strong self-management with the ability to switch between tasks.
🤝 Clear, professional and concise communication, both written and verbally.
