Your Role
Collaborating with clients and internal account leaders, this role acts as the key leader and representative of the Insights and Data business line with Capgemini’s financial services clients in Australia and New Zealand. This role will bring subject matter expertise and innovation (with a strong focus on data and AI) to our client engagements and programs of work. The role contains elements of pre-sales, growth, project delivery, and collaboration across a complex set of business lines and go to market offers. You are already an Australian Citizen / Permanent Resident, based in Melbourne.

Your Role

- Collaborate with clients to understand their business needs, identify opportunities for improvement, and provide expert advice on data and AI solutions.
- Drive project outcomes with a focus on data and AI solutions for clients in the financial services and banking industries.
- Ensure the successful delivery of projects on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Working in tandem with client partners for account planning and proactive proposals, driving with data and AI are part of all proposals
- Build a sustainable and predictable pipeline of work across all FS clients
- Drive AI adoption into FS portfolio in collaboration with other business lines (particularly with Invent)
- Shift portfolio from staff augmentation to outcome based (at least 50/50 by end 2026)
- Leverage offshore team and capabilities to support presales and strong delivery
- Stay up to date with the latest trends and advancements in data science, AI, and the financial services industry.
- Mentor and develop junior consultants, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
Experience and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
- At least 10 years’ experience in technology services or consulting, with a focus on data and AI solutions.
- A strong background in the financial services and banking is mandatory
- Experience in building up a pipeline of consulting services, with a focus on outcomes is desirable
- Proven ability to lead teams (both on and offshore), with a track record of producing outcomes for clients
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in developing value propositions for clients and pitching those to clients.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong understanding of the Data & AI market.
- Sales / Account Management / delivery experience in Consulting, IT Services, Digital, Cloud, etc.
- Experience of working in large consulting companies across geographies and cultures.
- Strong Financial Services sector / domain experience is key, along with broader information technology capabilities aligned to financial services.
- Experience with AI and machine learning frameworks.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
- Strong client facing experience and C-level relationship management experience.
- Passionate, with high positive energy, and excellent communication & negotiation skills.
- Exposure to transformational programs in AI & Data portfolio.
