Job Overview:
We seek a highly skilled and motivated Tech Lead with a strong background in full-stack development to lead a team of developers in building and scaling our web and applications. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in both front-end and back-end technologies, as well as a deep understanding of software architecture, development best practices, and agile methodologies. You will be responsible for guiding your team through the development lifecycle, ensuring quality code, mentoring junior developers, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and Mentor: Lead a team of developers, providing technical direction and mentoring junior engineers to enhance their skills.
- Full-Stack Development: Design, develop, and maintain both front-end and back-end components of web applications.
- Architecture & Design: Define and implement scalable, maintainable, and efficient software architecture for complex systems.
- Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Code Quality & Best Practices: Ensure that the team follows industry best practices for coding, testing, version control, and documentation.
- Performance & Scalability: Identify performance bottlenecks and implement optimizations to ensure the application is scalable and reliable.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay up to date with the latest technologies and trends in full-stack development, promoting continuous improvement within the team.
- Agile Development: Participate in agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and code reviews.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Experience: 3+ years of professional experience in software development with at least 2 years in a leadership or tech lead role.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong proficiency in front-end (Laravel, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, React.js, Angular, or Vue.js) and back-end (Node.js, Python, Java, Ruby, .NET, etc.) technologies.
- Experience with relational (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis) databases.
- Expertise in RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
- Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead, inspire, and motivate a team of developers in a fast-paced environment.
- Problem-solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to think critically and resolve complex technical issues.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Collaboration: A collaborative mindset, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with front-end frameworks like React Native development.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Previous experience in building and scaling production-level applications.
- Familiarity with testing frameworks (Jest, Mocha, Cypress, etc.) and test-driven development (TDD).
