About the Opportunity:
Reporting to the Head of Salon for Australia and New Zealand the role of the Regional Manager is to oversee and drive the (VIC/SA/NZ & TAS) states salon sales performance. Put simply, the primary objective of this role is to achieve sales targets (Distribution, Revenue & Growth) and lead your team of 6 sales representatives to ensure an outstanding experience for both our customers and their clients. On a day-to-day basis you will motivate, lead, train, coach and develop your Account Managers whilst planning, revising and executing sales strategies. You will play an active role in building strong customer relationships with current and prospective key business partners to strengthen our brand across the three states.
About the Role:
- Provide leadership and direction to the Sales teams through ensuring the outstanding execution of campaigns and brilliant customer service levels.
- Important role in distilling down the channel & business strategy in order to achieve performance success across all regions
- Build and leverage customer relationships through the delivery of outstanding customer service.
- Lead negotiations with key industry players to achieve mutually beneficial business partnerships.
- Build and develop internal relationships across the business to drive greater focus on our customers in an effective manner.
- Lead, train, coach and develop your team (direct and indirect reports) to demonstrate continuous capability improvement.
- Be available to travel each month interstate to support team members and connect with key players
About you:
- 3 years' experience in a senior sales management role exceeding sales targets
- Experience managing dispersed sales teams across several states in a B2B model
- Experience in the hair or similar fast paced industries is essential;
- Strong business and sales acumen and experience in applying within a team.
- Extensive understanding of adapting sales strategies based on analytics and manipulating business levers.
- Excellent time management, stress management and people management experience;
- Autonomous, self-motivated, ambitious, organised, resilient and adaptable – are attributes synonymous with this role.
- Intermediate to advanced systems (Sales Force, Outlook), Excel and Word skills are paramount.
- Salon industry experience is desirable but not essential
