As part of OceanWings engineering team, you will be working with the design team on the definition and optimization of the load cases and design loads. You will be generating key information for sizing the OceanWings® product and will have a role in getting the required certification from classification societies.
Main Missions
- Define and justify the load cases to design the OceanWings® based on existing standards and regulation
- Optimize the existing load cases and calculation tools
- Develop and maintain tools allowing to efficiently generate and communicate the load cases and regulation constraints
- You are studying for a Master level (Bac+5) in engineering, mechanical engineering or naval architecture
- You have some experiences in the naval industry
- You have an analytical and synthetic mind
- You have a good knowledge of programming (Python) and optionally Dash applications
- You are curious and have a good team spirit
- You have a good level of English allowing you to work in an international environment
- Optionally, you have a good knowledge of the regulations applied in the maritime, wind turbine, offshore equipment industries
- You will be implementing innovative products to decarbonize the maritime industry
- You will work in a start-up spirit as part of a passionate and dynamic team
- You will capitalize on the initial feedback from our first emblematic projects to design our next products.
- Position based in Paris with possible travel in France and abroad.
