Position Overview

We are looking for a hands-on and proactive HR Specialist to join our German HR team. This role plays a key part in implementing and enhancing HR practices in line with Zoomlion’s global and regional HR strategy, while ensuring full compliance with German labor law and supporting daily HR operations.


Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with external payroll vendors to prepare and verify monthly payroll data, including attendance, overtime, leave, and employee changes.
  • Manage time and attendance administration, ensuring accuracy and compliance with German working time regulations.
  • Support onboarding and training coordination for new employees, including HR induction and mandatory trainings.
  • Assist with recruitment activities in Germany and other European regions, including job postings, interview coordination, candidate communication, and offer process support.
  • Handle employee relations topics such as daily HR inquiries, probation administration, leave management, and support for disciplinary processes.
  • Support offboarding processes, including exit documentation, final payroll coordination, and handover procedures.
  • Support KPI and performance management processes through data tracking, documentation, system updates, and reporting (process support only).
  • Conduct HR compliance checks for German entities, including personnel files, contracts, policies, and internal audits.
  • Support the local implementation and update of HR policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with German labor law and internal standards.
  • Act as a key HR contact point for employees and managers at the Frankfurt and Waldlaubersheim locations.
  • Prepare HR-related reports and documentation for management and headquarters.
  • Support other HR-related tasks assigned by the HR Manager or Regional HR Team.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or Social Sciences.
  • Minimum 3 years of HR experience.
  • Solid knowledge of German labor law and HR compliance requirements.
  • Excellent MS Office skills, especially advanced Excel proficiency.
  • Structured, well-organized, and execution-focused, with a strong can-do attitude and self-driven working style.
  • Positive mindset with a continuous improvement approach and openness to new ideas and opportunities.
