The Position

Tasks & Responsibilities

  • In your new role, you will act as Scrum Master, servant-leader and agile coach mainly for the intranet (INSITE) product team and are responsible to promote and support Scrum methods (e.g. teaching daily stand-ups, preparing and supporting sprint reviews and facilitating retrospectives, OKR sessions etc.).
  • You will work closely with the INSITE product owner and IT capability lead as well as other product owners to ensure that goals, scope and product domain are understood by the Scrum team and provide techniques to effectively manage the product backlog.
  • One of your responsibilities will be to scale agile in supporting and neighboring product teams (e.g. LeSS framework)
  • Additionally, you will coach the development team in self-organization or cross-functionality to enable them to create high-value products.
  • Utilizing your experience, you will lead and coach the organization in their Scrum adoption.


Requirements

  • Master’s degree in information technology, computer science, business administration or equivalent (e.g. Bachelor’s degree with additional years of relevant experience)
  • First years of experience in leading agile development teams as Scrum Master
  • Scrum certified (e.g., Scrum.org or equivalent)
  • Practical know-how in building high quality products, enabling business capabilities and objectives through technology
  • Knowledge and understanding of technical engineering best practices (e.g., test-driven development, continuous integration) are beneficial
  • Strong observer skills to identify risks and to make them visible and particularly enable the team to take this perspective
  • Excellent communications skills in English are required, German skills are beneficial
