In ROL business unit we are now looking for Global Technology Manager, Roll Covers and Maintenance to drive our growth and market share increase of roll cover and maintenance products and solutions globally.

The primary responsibilities include the ownership and development of product portfolio and technologies, improving cost efficiency and furthering customer satisfaction. You will be leading the global business together with the area sales and product managers and in co-operation with the global team you will find the best economical and technical solutions for our customer needs. In ideal case you are an experienced P&P industry professional with combined expertise in both process and machinery technologies. Developing of product management related tools and processes is natural for you.

Global Technology Manager is responsible for

• Leading reportable product business and driving profitable growth
• Developing globally products and concepts (Product Life Cycle Management) as well as product portfolio competitiveness
• Pricing guidelines / models and product pricing co-operation with Areas
• Driving reportable product annual target setting, sales budgeting and product margin development
• Driving R&D with key stakeholders
• Managing of business development projects
• Developing of product management related tools e.g. pricing programs
• Reference management
• Identifying growth opportunities and new business approaches
• Active promotion of designated products to customers and internally
• Global support in technology and sales
• Managing sales / marketing materials & actions (launching, training, collection of customer feedback)
• Competitor benchmark
• Technology and best practice transfers to areas in co-operation with key stakeholders
  
  

To succeed in this role you will need

• Proven expertise in P&P processes, with the ability to translate customer needs into innovative product solutions and drive sales.
• Experience in the service business and product management, including proficiency with relevant tools.
• A track record of success in business development, particularly in implementing process improvement projects.
• A strong customer-centric mindset, capable of building relationships and delivering results in a complex, matrix organization.
• High motivation, self-drive, and resilience under pressure to achieve ambitious goals.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills in English; proficiency in additional languages is an advantage.
• Readiness to travel internationally, sometimes on short notice.
• At least 5 years of experience in the P&P industry, with demonstrated success in multi-cultural, global environments.
• A degree in engineering, business, or a related field (M.Sc., B.Sc., or equivalent).
• Basic knowledge of Roll Technology in customer applications
