Education/Experience
- Holding a university degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Project Management, or a related field.
- Demonstrating proven experience as a Project Manager in the aerospace secure communications sectors.
- Possessing strong knowledge of security standards, classified information handling, and regulatory frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, EU/NATO security requirements, ITAR, GDPR where applicable).
- Exhibiting demonstrated success in managing complex, multi-stakeholder development projects.
- Holding PMP®, PRINCE2®, or equivalent project management certification (preferred).
- Displaying excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Maintaining valid security clearance up to Secret level of confidentiality.
- Being familiar with satellite systems architecture, secure communications, or ground segment development.
- Gaining experience working with governmental agencies or defence/security institutions.
- Being able to manage culturally diverse and international teams.
- Leading and managing the end-to-end delivery of the satellite system development project, focusing on security requirements.
- Acting as the primary interface between the company, governmental stakeholders, and subcontractors on behalf of the SES local security officer.
- Ensuring strict adherence to national and international security regulations regarding classified and sensitive governmental information.
- Coordinating with engineering, security office, and compliance teams to integrate cybersecurity, physical security, and data protection measures into system design and operations.
- Developing, monitoring, and updating project plans, budgets, and schedules.
- Managing risk assessment and mitigation strategies, especially for security-related threats.
- Overseeing documentation, audits, and certifications required by governmental security authorities.
- Providing regular progress and security compliance reports to senior management and government representatives.
- Driving cross-functional collaboration to ensure both technical excellence and regulatory compliance.
