Senior Machine Learning Engineer

Salary: Up to €70,000 + competitive bonus

Location: Portugal (Remote or Hybrid)

I am looking for a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to join a fast-growing AI team focused on operationalizing cutting-edge ML models and delivering robust ML pipelines at scale.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on real-world AI applications, optimize ML workflows, and contribute to a high-performing, cross-functional team.

What You'll Do

Collaborate with data scientists to develop production-ready model training pipelines

Design scalable solutions and inference pipelines in distributed environments

Implement model diagnostics, monitoring flows, and evaluation metrics

Automate model deployment and create REST API endpoints for ML models

Build scalable model serving workflows

Optimize clusters for performance and scalability

Develop and maintain internal ML tools and libraries

Write CI/CD/CT pipelines for reliable, repeatable deployment

What They Are Looking For

Extensive software development experience using Python in large-scale, high-performance production environments

Hands-on experience designing ML software systems

Experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure

Proficiency with Spark/PySpark

Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
