We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Backend Developer to join our Telecom Research & Development team. In this role, you will assist in designing, developing, and maintaining backend services for telecom applications and systems. You will collaborate closely with senior engineers and R&D teams to build innovative solutions that drive advancements in telecom infrastructure, network performance, and communication technologies.
Responsibilities
- Assist in building and maintaining robust, scalable, and secure backend systems for telecom applications.
- Write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and system reliability. Troubleshoot and resolve backend issues efficiently.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams (including Frontend Developers, Data Engineers, and Telecom Experts) to understand requirements and deliver solutions that meet project goals.
- Maintain clear and concise documentation for code, systems, and workflows.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to team best practices.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies.
- Contribute to ongoing research efforts in emerging telecom technologies such as cloud infrastructure and network virtualization.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field.
- Proficiency in at least one backend language (Java) and basic understanding of data structures and algorithms.
- Exposure to cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
- Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with Git or other version control systems for managing codebase.
- Experience working in an Agile development environment and using Jira or similar project management tools.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Excellent teamwork and mentoring abilities.
- Fluency in English.
- Work within both a professional and a friendly environment.
