C#/VB.Net Developer (m/f/d)

C#/VB.Net Developer (m/f/d) - Location: Düsseldorf or Cologne (permanent + 80% remote)

Tasks

  • Connecting existing processes to customer environments, replacing outdated software and revising the code
  • Converting the user interface from WinForms to WPF
  • Working with customers to customize and convert existing masks to a modern GUI framework using C#, VB.Net and WPF
  • Creating functional and technical concepts as well as coordinating and integrating interfaces to other processes
  • Carrying out unit tests, ensuring quality and creating and maintaining technical documentation and handover protocols
  • Advising and planning in direct customer contact and supporting change management

Skills

  • Completed IT specialist training, degree in computer science or an equivalent qualification
  • Experience in software development with the programming languages C# and VB.Net
  • Structured thinking and approach to complex problems
  • High customer orientation and strong teamwork skills for successful collaboration in the project environment
  • Experience with relational databases such as Oracle, MS SQL or comparable systems is an advantage
  • Willingness to develop innovative solutions and get involved in a dynamic development environment

Type of contract: permanent position
