We are seeking a Data Science and Quantitative Business Analyst to strengthen our Analytics Center of Excellence Team. The ideal candidate will combine advanced data science techniques and financial expertise with sharp analytical judgment to deliver actionable insights and models that support strategic decision-making. This role offers the chance to work with large and complex datasets, particularly in commodities, FIFX markets, and exchange trading data, using machine learning (ML) and artificial intelligence (AI) to optimize business outcomes. If you’re passionate about driving innovation and shaping the future of analytics, we’d love to hear from you! Knowledge of ESG principles and Islamic finance is considered a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement data models, predictive analytics, and frameworks to support trading and risk management.
- Analyze commodities, FIFX market data, ETC, and other datasets to identify trends, correlations, and opportunities.
- Build and deploy machine learning algorithms and AI solutions for forecasting, anomaly detection, and optimization.
- Collaborate with business partners to translate complex data insights into strategies.
- Present findings through visualizations, dashboards, and business reports
- Ensure data integrity and compliance with regulatory standards, including ESG considerations.
- Chip in to research and development on Islamic finance and balanced investment analytics.
- Education: Experience in Data Science, Quantitative Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field.
- Strong proficiency in Python, R, or SQL for data analysis and modelling.
- Experience with machine learning frameworks
- Good understanding of data modelling, statistical analysis, and predictive modelling.
- Deep understanding of commodities markets, FIFX, ETC and financial instruments.
- Knowledge of risk management, pricing models, and quantitative finance.
- Understanding of EGS principles are a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Good communication skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical collaborators.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

Compensation Information:
LSEG is committed to offering competitive Compensation and Benefits. The anticipated annual gross base salary for this position is between zł154,700 - zł257,900. Please be aware base salary ranges may vary by geographic location. In addition to our offered base salary, this role is eligible for our Annual Bonus Plan (”bonus plan”). Target Bonus % will be commensurate with role level and posted career stage. Individual salary will be reflective of job-related knowledge, skills and equivalent experience.
