About the Role

We’re seeking highly skilled Principal .NET Full Stack Developers to lead enterprise-level digital modernization projects within a large-scale Agile transformation initiative.

As part of a cross-functional, high-performance team, you’ll build secure, scalable, and user-centered digital platforms using .NET Core, React, TypeScript, and Azure cloud services. You’ll work closely with architects, UX designers, and DevOps specialists to deliver applications that are reliable, accessible, and cloud-optimized.

This is a hands-on senior consulting role where you’ll shape technical direction, guide developers, and contribute directly to digital transformation programs that impact thousands of users across Canada.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end .NET Core and React application development following Agile best practices
• Architect and implement RESTful APIs ensuring security, scalability, and version control
• Optimize backend performance, reliability, and data integrity for enterprise-scale systems
• Develop responsive, accessible front-end interfaces aligned with UX/UI design standards
• Integrate with Azure App Services, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and Cosmos DB
• Collaborate with designers and architects to ensure seamless system interoperability
• Implement CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, and automated testing
• Participate in code reviews, technical discovery, and sprint planning sessions
• Provide technical mentorship and promote reusable component development
• Ensure solutions comply with cloud governance, privacy, and cybersecurity frameworks

Mandatory Skills & Qualifications

• 15+ years of professional experience in software development and solution delivery
• 10+ years designing and developing .NET Core / C# applications with RESTful APIs
• 8–10+ years leading Agile enterprise projects with 15+ team members
• 8+ years building front-end interfaces using React, TypeScript, and modern JavaScript frameworks
• 8+ years working with Azure cloud-based services (App Services, Functions, Storage, Key Vault)
• 8+ years integrating relational and NoSQL databases (MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Cosmos DB)
• Strong understanding of user-centered design and accessibility (WCAG)
• Excellent collaboration, analytical, and communication skills in Agile team settings

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills

• 3+ years experience modernizing legacy systems into modern digital services
• 3+ years developing cloud-native and mobile-ready applications (React Native a plus)
• 3+ years working with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and Infrastructure-as-Code
• 5+ years experience in public-sector or large-enterprise cloud transformations
• Experience with OAuth2, OpenID Connect, and role-based access control (RBAC)
• Familiarity with Azure AD, PowerShell automation, and CI/CD governance pipelines
