About The Role
We are seeking talented Software Engineers to join our dynamic team, supporting remote work based in the US or a hybrid work environment at our Palo Alto, CA office. As a core member of our Frontend team, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and enhancing our client-facing web applications and features. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams including backend developers, mobile engineers, designers, and product managers, you will contribute to building innovative solutions that help our clients grow their wealth. Your responsibilities will include working on new product features leveraging our in-house Design System components, improving infrastructure, and enhancing developer productivity. You will also be involved in troubleshooting operational issues, participating in infrastructure projects to boost system health and performance, and mentoring fellow engineers. Qualifications
- 2-6 years of experience in a web-focused engineering role
- Deep understanding of JavaScript, including ES5+ standards and native DOM APIs
- Proficiency with at least one modern front-end framework such as React, Vue, or Angular
- Experience with server-side frameworks such as Ruby on Rails, Express, or Django is a plus
- Strong skills in building custom pages and components, with a focus on page speed and responsiveness across devices
- Experience working with design to develop custom pages and components
- Knowledge of CSS, including writing custom styles for responsiveness
- Experience with test-driven development, continuous integration, and automated testing
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Passion for projects with measurable business impact and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Collaborate with backend, mobile engineers, designers, and product managers to develop new features and enhance existing functionalities
- Build and maintain client-facing web components using our Design System
- Triages and resolves operational issues to ensure the stability and performance of web systems
- Participate in infrastructure projects aimed at improving system health, performance, and delivery velocity
- Contribute to code reviews, testing, and documentation to uphold quality standards
- Mentor junior engineers, sharing best practices and technical expertise
- Engage in recruiting activities, including interviewing candidates
- Stay updated with industry trends and continuously improve technical skills and knowledge
