Onsite – Full Time
We are looking for an experienced Swift / iOS developer to join an innovative startup building connected, real-world IoT systems. This role is full-time and onsite, working closely with embedded, backend, and cloud teams to deliver reliable, production-grade software that bridges mobile devices, sensors, and cloud services.
You’ll help build iOS applications that communicate with BLE-enabled devices, process real-time data, and surface meaningful insights through clean, intuitive interfaces. If you enjoy seeing your software interact with physical systems, this role is for you.
Responsibilities
· Design, develop, and maintain iOS applications using Swift
· Build and maintain BLE-based communication between mobile apps and IoT devices
· Work with indoor location data and device telemetry
· Collaborate closely with embedded C/C++ and backend engineering teams
· Integrate iOS applications with cloud services, APIs, and SQL databases
· Debug and optimize systems that span mobile, firmware, and cloud layers
· Participate in architecture reviews, testing, and product planning
Required Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field (or a proven track record in software development)
· Minimum of two years of professional software development experience
· Strong proficiency in Swift and iOS development
· Experience building and maintaining production software
Preferred / Plus Qualifications
· Experience with IoT systems, Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE), and device communication
· Familiarity with indoor location technologies
· Experience with C and C++, especially in embedded or systems environments
· Proficiency in SQL and Python for data processing and tooling
· Experience with Microsoft Azure and cloud-based IoT architectures
What We Offer
· Work on IoT products that operate in real-world environments, not demos
· Close collaboration with hardware, firmware, and cloud engineers
· A startup environment where engineering decisions directly shape the product
· Competitive compensation and benefits
· Meaningful ownership and the opportunity to grow with the company
This role is ideal for engineers who enjoy crossing boundaries—mobile, firmware, cloud—and who take satisfaction in making complex systems behave reliably in the physical world.
