Helpling is a truly product-driven organization. As a Product Manager for our marketplace, you’ll play an essential role in balancing the needs of both service providers and customers. By understanding the unique challenges on both sides of the marketplace, you’ll drive initiatives that enhance product offerings, improve user experience, and increase engagement. You’ll be responsible for a critical product area, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful results.

You’ll support initiatives aimed at improving retention and engagement for both customers seeking services and providers offering them, helping ensure satisfaction within our ecosystem. Your insights and strategic contributions will play an important part in shaping the marketplace experience and its future direction.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to defining the vision and strategy for marketplace product areas, ensuring an optimized experience for both providers and customers
  • Take ownership of key KPIs, focusing on engagement, satisfaction, and retention metrics
  • Conduct user research and data analysis to gain insights into customer and provider needs
  • Collaborate with engineering, UX/UI, and BI teams to develop and launch new features for web & mobile apps, supporting marketplace efficiency
  • Support initiatives to improve marketplace liquidity, match rates, engagement and service quality
  • Prioritize tasks based on short-term goals and long-term impact, focusing on high-value initiatives
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders across marketing, operations, and BI to ensure alignment with business goals
  • Monitor and report on product performance, leveraging feedback to iterate and enhance product features

What You Need To Succeed

  • 2+ years of product management experience, ideally within a two-sided marketplace or platform environment
  • Demonstrated ability to use data to make informed product decisions, focusing on engagement and retention
  • Experience in agile and lean product development, with a proactive approach to learning and adapting
  • Comfortable working within cross-functional teams and managing projects impacting multiple user groups
  • Adaptable and comfortable with change; you’re energized by dynamic environments.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and translate it into actionable product enhancements
  • Passionate about creating solutions that address real-world challenges for both customers and service providers
