Key Responsibilities
- Handle end-to-end payroll processing for employees across locations
- Ensure timely and accurate salary payments, incentives, bonuses, and deductions
- Manage statutory compliance including PF, ESI, PT, LWF, Income Tax, and related filings
- Process payroll inputs such as attendance, leave, overtime, arrears, and reimbursements
- Coordinate with Finance for payroll accounting, provisions, and reconciliations
- Handle internal, statutory, and external payroll audits
- Work with payroll vendors and manage payroll systems
- Address employee payroll queries and resolve issues promptly
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies
- Prepare payroll reports, MIS, and management summaries
- Maintain payroll records and ensure data confidentiality
- Strong knowledge of payroll processes and Indian labor laws
- Experience handling payroll in pharma or large corporate organizations
- Hands-on experience with payroll systems and MS Excel
- Good understanding of taxation and statutory compliance
- Strong coordination and communication skills
- Ability to handle confidential information
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, or HR
- MBA / PGDM in HR or Finance preferred
