What You'll Own
- Component Architecture: Help scale our React/TypeScript codebase by developing reusable, maintainable components using our shared PMH-UI library.
- Product Development: Collaborate closely with designers and product managers to build elegant user interfaces that handle scientific complexity with simplicity.
- Performance & Optimization: Proactively identify UI bottlenecks and ship improvements that make the platform faster and more reliable.
- Code Quality & Process: Advocate for quality, consistency, and velocity through clear standards, thoughtful abstractions, and testing strategies.
What We're Looking For
- Experience: 2-4+ years of hands-on frontend development in fast-paced product teams.
- Tech Stack: Strong with React (Hooks, Context), TypeScript, Tailwind; experience with component systems and design tokens a plus.
- Platform Thinking: You care about structure, extensibility, and developer experience — not just shipping screens.
- Collaboration: Clear communicator who thrives in tight-knit, cross-functional environments.
- Craft: You sweat the details and constantly push for cleaner, more elegant solutions.
- Familiarity with scientific, data-heavy, or domain-driven products
- Experience working with or contributing to shared UI systems (e.g., Storybook, design systems)
- Some comfort navigating backend APIs (Django/FastAPI)
