Your new company
Our state government client is seeking a HR Classification & Establishment Coordinator on a 6-month temporary contract.
Your new role
- Provide efficient position classification and establishment support in collaboration with HR teams.
- Maintain adherence to WA Public Sector and departmental classification policies, guidelines, and standards.
- Offer guidance to managers and executives on organisational structures and position classifications.
- Develop and maintain user-friendly classification and establishment systems, processes, and documentation.
- Assess proposals and prepare submissions for review committees in a timely and accurate manner.
- Work with internal teams, external agencies, and service providers to ensure compliance and effective outcomes.
- Provide coaching and training to HR staff, contribute to related projects, and keep up-to-date with HR trends and government policies.
What you'll need to succeed
- Considerable experience in and knowledge of classification and establishment processes within a government environment and the ability to develop and implement effective and efficient processes, procedures and systems, i.e. BIPERs
- Experience in researching and analysing information, communicating and collaborating with others, to prepare executive-level reports influencing and achieving outcomes.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent Stakeholder management experience.
