This is a junior level role in the Strategy and Consulting team, if you have previous experience of consulting around cyber security strategy, or previous consulting, advisory and policy experience and completed a cyber cert or degree then please apply we would be keen to chat to you!


Position Summary & Primary Objectives


Reporting to the Senior Manager - Strategy & Consulting, the Consultant is responsible for working with the Strategy & Consulting team to support our customers to solve their current and most challenging cyber security problems, protect their future and empower them to thrive in an uncertain world.


Key Roles & Responsibilities

  • Conduct research and synthesise information to assist the Strategy & Consulting team
  • to develop cyber security strategies, policies, processes, and procedures to protect our clients and their customers
  • Support development and delivery of end to end Strategy & Consulting engagements
  • Distil research into briefs and presentations for the Strategy & Consulting team to utilise internally and externally
  • Support the Strategy & Consulting team to advise on clients’ cyber security investment and monitoring performance for boards and senior leadership  Assist the Strategy & Consulting team to prepare clients for critical cyber security incidents
  • Understand the key principles required and learn how to build cyber security awareness amongst our clients’ leadership teams  Support the Strategy & Consulting team to produce high-quality proposals, reports, and presentations


Preferred Qualifications, Experience & Skills


  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Cyber Security, Business Administration is preferred but not essential
  • 1+ years’ experience in technology or risk consulting, ideally with experience working for a global consulting firm or large technology company.
  • Cyber security experience is highly regarded
  • Good personal presence and the ability to effectively engage with senior client
  • stakeholders
  • A strategic mindset and an understanding of how engagements fit into a broader business context
  • Any knowledge with one or more cyber security areas. For example, risk assessment and management, cyber security frameworks (such as NIST CSF, ISM, ISO/IEC27001) or vulnerability assessment, penetration testing, security research etc is highly desirable but not essential at this stage.
