Role: Backend / Fullstack Engineer (Berlin, hybrid)

I am working with a fast-growing travel-tech company in Berlin that is transforming how people take short vacations in Europe. They are building a product-driven engineering team and are migrating from PHP/Symfony to Go, using Vue.js on the front-end and experimenting with AI to make travel smarter and more seamless.

What You’ll Do:

• Build and maintain scalable backend services in Go and PHP
• Contribute to the migration from monolithic PHP systems to modern microservices
• Collaborate with product and design teams to ship end-to-end features
• Explore and integrate AI and automation into the product
• Improve code quality, testing, and engineering best practices

Who We Are Looking For:

• Backend experience, ideally PHP and Go
• Knowledge of microservices, REST/GraphQL APIs, and CI/CD pipelines
• Curious, proactive, and passionate about building products that make an impact
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, product-focused environment
