Job Title: Scrum Master

Contract Length: 12-Month Contract

Daily Rate: €470 per day

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master to join a delivery team working across API development, User Interface (UI) solutions, and Cloud-based platforms. The Scrum Master will play a key role in guiding teams through the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) while ensuring Agile principles and best practices are consistently applied.

This role is ideal for someone with strong facilitation skills, hands-on Agile delivery experience, and the ability to work closely with technical and business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate and support Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives
• Coach and guide teams on Agile/Scrum best practices and continuous improvement
• Support end-to-end delivery across the SDLC, from requirements through to deployment and release
• Remove impediments and manage dependencies to ensure smooth sprint execution
• Work closely with Product Owners, Developers, UI/UX teams, API engineers, and Cloud teams
• Promote collaboration between cross-functional teams working on APIs, UI components, and Cloud infrastructure
• Track and report on delivery metrics (velocity, sprint progress, risks, and dependencies)
• Foster a culture of transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement
• Support Agile maturity and help teams transition or scale Agile ways of working where needed

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience as a Scrum Master in Agile delivery environments
• Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Hands-on experience working with:
• Agile API development
• User Interface (UI) / front-end development teams
• Cloud-based platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP – knowledge level acceptable)
• Solid knowledge of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe or similar)
• Experience working with cross-functional technical teams
• Excellent facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to identify and resolve blockers effectively
• Experience with Agile tools (e.g. Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps)

Desirable / Nice to Have

• Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM, SAFe Scrum Master, or equivalent)
• Experience in large-scale or enterprise Agile environments
• Background working in digital, platform, or cloud transformation programmes
