Position Summary
As the HR Services Coordinator (50%) for our Dutch operations at Amsterdam Airport and Rotterdam, you will be the vital on-site HR face based in Schiphol ensuring seamless delivery of local HR services. Acting as the primary contact for employees and managers, you will coordinate essential HR processes including recruitment, onboarding, employee data management, and absence administration. Your role supports the remote HR Business Partner by driving accuracy, responsiveness, and compliance with Dutch labor and social security regulations, ultimately contributing to a positive and engaging employee experience within a dynamic, international environment. Your position reports to the Director HR Services EMEA and is fixed for an initial duration of 12 months.
Your Role
- Be the Heart of Local HR Excellence: Serve as the first point of contact for employees and managers, ensuring smooth execution of HR processes that keep our Dutch operations running flawlessly. Your coordination of recruitment, onboarding, and employee administration will create a positive and compliant workplace experience.
- Drive Accurate and Responsive HR Services: Manage day-to-day HR administration, from contract preparation to absence management, collaborating with external partners and ensuring compliance with Dutch labor laws and social security regulations.
- Support Managers and Employees: Provide clear guidance on employment conditions and collective labor agreements, acting as a trusted local liaison for all HR-related inquiries and processes.
- Contribute to a Positive Employee Journey: Coordinate onboarding and offboarding, maintain precise personnel data, and support health and safety initiatives, all while fostering a culture of responsiveness and care.
- Detail-Oriented HR Professional with Strong Legal and Organizational Expertise: You thrive in managing multiple HR processes with accuracy and a strong sense of compliance, especially within the Dutch labor framework. Your solid knowledge of Dutch labor laws, social security regulations, and Collective Labor Agreements (CLA) ensures that all HR activities are compliant and precise.
- Effective Communicator and Trusted Collaborator: You build trust through clear communication and work seamlessly with employees, managers, and external partners such as Arbodienst, Paradigma, and pension brokers to deliver excellent HR services. Your interpersonal skills make you a reliable point of contact and a valued team player.
- Solution Oriented with Technical Proficiency: You anticipate needs, meet deadlines, and ensure smooth coordination of recruitment, payroll, and absence management activities. Your proficiency in HR information systems and data management supports accurate personnel data maintenance and timely updates.
