Vulnerability Analyst Contract – ZZP 3 Year Engagement - On Site Amsterdam

Are you a Vulnerability Analyst ready to take on a long term, high impact role in one of Europe's most exciting cyber security environments? We're seeking an expert to join a leading EU institutions onsite team in Amsterdam, delivering cutting edge vulnerability management and remediation.

• Contract Duration: 3 years starting February 2026
• Location: Fully onsite in Amsterdam
• Team Setup: You'll interface directly with remote L1/L2 monitoring teams managed by a top tier security provider

What you'll do:

• Lead vulnerability monitoring and scanning using industry-leading tools like Rapid7, Microsoft Defender, and AWS Inspector
• Triage alerts, validate vulnerabilities, assess impact/exploitability, and drive fast remediation
• Produce weekly operational vulnerability reports and monthly KPI based status reports with actionable insights
• Track remediation progress, define and update quarterly improvement roadmaps
• Document internal processes, contribute to security baselines, and support compliance efforts
• Collaborate on zero day responses and provide clear, professional communication to technical and management stakeholders

Must-have skills & experience:

• Proven expertise in vulnerability management, scanning, triage, analysis, and remediation
• Hands on experience with Rapid7 (InsightVM/Nexpose), MS Defender, AWS Inspector, and ticketing systems
• Strong understanding of vulnerability lifecycle, exploit validation, and risk assessment
• Ability to produce detailed reports, dashboards, and recommendations
• Excellent written and verbal communication for cross functional collaboration
• Ideally you will speak Dutch, although this isn't essential
