Summarizing the way Mobility works in one word? Nearly impossible. Let’s use four instead: MORK means “more than just work.” As pioneers in car sharing, our goal is shaping the mobility of tomorrow with a strong commitment to sustainability. We embrace today’s challenges and tackle them without hesitation. MORK is about atmosphere, constant mutual support, great flexibility, valuable benefits, and above all—a meaningful impact. It’s about your contribution to a better future.
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Experience Designer (UX/UI) for our new office in Morbio, Canton Ticino.
In this role, you’ll shape product experiences end-to-end across our app, website and platform tools. You’ll work closely with product owners, developers, researchers to deliver intuitive, coherent and accessible interfaces that make car-sharing simple and delightful. You bring a strong foundation in UX craft and polished visual/UI with great understanding of accessibility standards and motion design. You’re confident taking a brief, structuring problems, running small user tests, iterating quickly, and landing designs that ship well in agile value streams.
This is a hands-on role with plenty of ownership and room to grow.
Key Responsibilities
Experience Design
- Translate business and user needs into clear flows, prototypes and Hi-Fi designs.
- Design for both app and web, ensuring consistency across the Mobility ecosystem.
- Shape features end-to-end: discovery → ideation → prototyping → delivery.
Collaboration & Delivery
- Work closely with product managers to define problems, scope features and validate assumptions in a dedicated value stream.
- Partner tightly with developers to ensure design feasibility and high-quality implementation.
- Collaborate with our researchers to plan and support usability tests and concept validations.
- Collaborate with other designers to create the best solutions across all value streams
Design System & Quality
- Use and contribute to the Mobility design system.
- Apply accessibility, performance and responsive design best practices.
- Help maintain design quality across teams by giving and receiving constructive feedback.
Continuous Improvement
- Bring fresh ideas, inspire the team with trends and best practices.
- Participate in critique sessions, workshops and planning.
- Advocate for a user-centered mindset within your value stream.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in UX/UI, product design, or interface design.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating user-centric design and high-quality visual/UI execution. Make sure you show both selling-looks and more complex feature solutions. Ideally you can show that you have worked on end-user facing websites and apps.
- Solid experience with Figma and prototyping tools.
- Ability to articulate design decisions clearly in cross-functional settings.
- Experience working in agile, iterative teams.
- Understanding of accessibility principles (WCAG AA standard), interaction patterns and responsive design.
- Excellent communicator with clear argumentation flow to win others for your ideas.
- Fluent English and German (large client base in CHD: it will be less work if you understand their feedback directly in usability tests etc.)
Nice to Have
- Experience with mobility, transportation, or subscription-based digital products.
- Familiarity with design systems and token-based UI architectures.
- Basic understanding of user research methods.
- Experience with component libraries (e.g., Storybook), motion design or micro-interactions.
What We Offer
- A dynamic and innovative workplace that values collaboration.
- Opportunities to work on impactful projects with modern technologies.
- Professional growth and skill development programs.
- Competitive salary and benefits package.
- A commitment to fostering a work-life balance.
