About this opportunity:
We are seeking an experienced, innovative CI-CD Automation Senior Developer to join BOS SWPS (Software Pipelines and Services) and drive cutting-edge automation initiatives across Ericsson's BSS and OSS portfolio. This role focuses on automation while maintaining a deep understanding of end-to-end design and product capabilities. You will play a pivotal role in integrating and automating product deployment and operations for the BSS and OSS portfolio, including EC, EB, ESOA, EOC, ECM, EM, ECEV, and testing with ESSVT.
This is a hands-on position that requires expertise in automation asset implementation, solutions deployment, configuration, and continuous improvement. A successful candidate will embrace Cloud Native and GitOps principles, and possess development skills to achieve the overarching goal of treating Everything as Code—Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Configuration as Code, Documentation as Code, Policies as Code, and more—while actively driving collaboration and automation adoption across the organization.
The BOS SWPS GitOps framework is built on Kubernetes, FluxCD, GitLab, and in-house GO-based applications. Deep knowledge of these technologies is required. Additionally, the solution is integrated with PDU delivery flows, so good knowledge about R&D verification and the delivery process is also desired.

What you will do:
- Participate in the design, implementation, and management of automation pipelines for BSS and OSS solutions.
- Integrate cloud-native technologies and GitOps practices into workflows.
- Design and maintain DevOps tools and frameworks to support scalable automation, including in-house built applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (R&D, SD, SDU, CU) to ensure alignment from design, development, delivery, and deployment of BOS products and solutions, considering both Ericsson and customer goals.
- Streamline the installation, operations, and integration processes for BSS and OSS services.
- Ensure compliance with operational standards and continuously optimize system performance.
- Experiment with emerging tools and frameworks to improve automation practices.
- Contribute to process documentation and knowledge sharing.
- Education: Degree in IT, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Expertise in Cloud Native and GitOps practices.
- Strong development skills, as required by automation assets: Shell, Python, Ansible, Golang...
- Familiarity with BSS and OSS products and solutions: EC, EB, ESOA, EOC, ECM, EM, ECEV, ESSVT, etc.
- Knowledge of the development process for Ericsson Products (preferably BOS domain), including knowledge of Solution Configuration methodology and tools (Mimer, Munin, SWGW).
- Knowledge of Ericsson Cloud Native Architecture, including TEA, ADP, BCSS, and BOS design rules and principles.
- Proficiency in Cloud Native and DevOps tools, including Kubernetes, Helm, Helmfile, Flux, GitLab, Artifactory, and other CI/CD frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with automation pipelines and system integration.
- Knowledge of modern monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana).
- Solid understanding of Everything as Code principles.
- Familiarity with Agile practices and management tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Coaching and mentoring skills.
